Throughout his career, Scott has lived on the leading edge of technology innovation and its impact on the business world and society in general. Steve Anderson

Steve Anderson is a Senior Product Manager for Micro Focus focused on Service Management Automation X (SMAX). He has worked in enterprise software for IT Service Management for a number of years, in R&D and Product Management.

Gautam Bhasin

Gautam has an experience of more than a decade in the domain of Data Protection. He has played various roles in Data Protector varying from Engineering, Architect and WW Product Management. He holds 8 patents (filed and granted) in the space of Information Management.

Gary Brandt

Gary Brandt has more than twenty years’ experience in the IT industry delivering global enterprise scale business and IT solutions; experienced SW Engineer, Architect and Product Manager; 1 patent granted, 1 patent filed; presented at numerous Micro Focus events; based in Northern California.


Harald Burose

Harald has 20+ years in enterprise software industry, and currently leads product management for the Operations Bridge. He has filed 6 patents and has been granted 3 unique technology patents. Harald has presented at 100+ Industry events, and is based out of Germany.

Jacques Conand

Jacques Conand is Director of Product Management for Micro Focus Service Management Automation and Configuration Management Systems suites, which covers Service Management, Asset Management, Configuration Management and Discovery.

Jacques has over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, and has been leading enterprise software product organizations in software vendors and equipment providers, bringing innovation to large software businesses and satisfying the most demanding customers.

Jo De Baer

Jo has twenty years of overall international IT experience, ten of which in IT product management. His computer skills range from coding to systems management to agile product design. Currently, as Senior Product Manager for PlateSpin, Jo manages a set of world class products that Micro Focus customers and partners rely on to migrate servers and applications to the cloud. Jo is a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist and Product Manager. He is a Belgian citizen living and working in the United States, spends at least 10 hours per week in the gym, and is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration at Utah State University.

Bill Dyck

Bill is the Senior Product Manager for CMS, which includes Universal Discovery and Universal CMDB. He is responsible for the product strategy and development of new discovery capabilities, methods and tools, helping keep Micro Focus ahead of its competitors in this domain. Bill has been working in IT-related fields for 28 years, and recently came from a practitioner background in HP-IT, deploying UCMDB instances and related content in support of HP-IT’s configuration management processes world-wide.

Brett England

A 30 year veteran of the IT industry with a 10yr span working with DataCenter Automation.

Alina Gicqueau

Alina Gicqueau has over 15 years of experience in performance and systems management with specialization in predictive analytics and machine learning for IT Operations. She has been leveraging her extensive IT Ops experience in introducing containerization technologies for IT Operations. She is leading a team that created Micro Focus Container Deployment Foundation for IT Operations Management Platform portfolio. Alina is based in Sunnyvale, California office.

John Goldstein

John has been working with service management systems for the past 18 years. He joined Mentor Graphics in 2006 and during his career there has worked with Service Manager, Asset Manager, Discovery and Dependency Mapping Inventory (DDMI) and Universal Discovery / Universal CMDB. John has been involved in the Universal CMDB user community for the past 10 years and is a regular attendee of the CMS Practitioners call. John has been a speaker at several of the past ITOM Summits.

Will Herrmann

Will is a 27 year veteran of the IT industry, with 21 years supporting Gas/Electric Utilities of the Exelon Corporation or its predecessors. He is currently Exelon’s Cloud and Infrastructure Operations Manager for Monitoring and Automation.

Keith Jahn

Keith Jahn is the leader of the Product Services Delivery Center (PSDC) for Micro Focus. This group delivers technology-enabled services for product development (R&D) and production operations of our SaaS-based product offerings. PSDC partners with our product groups to implement and use our solutions internally to run our hybrid IT environment in product development and SaaS delivery.

Keith has over 30 years in the industry with the bulk of his career spent as an IT practitioner and leader for Compaq and HP. He has held roles in commercial outsourcing, application development, IT infrastructure engineering, automation and operations. Prior to assuming the role in PSDC he was the Chief Strategist in the office of the CTO for Micro Focus where he led several transformation efforts and helped shpe our product strategy.

Brian Kaplan

Brian Kaplan has spent more than 15 years supporting deployments and managing network management solutions with HP/HPE and now Micro Focus. Brian has been the Product Manager for Micro Focus Network Automation since 2013, and the Network Operations Management suite since its inception in 2017. He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering and Management Institute) in Flint, Michigan.

Derek Kruger

Derek Kruger has 18 years of IT experience spanning IT Operations Management and software development. His career started with web based application development and infrastructure administration and has covered many facets over the years including cloud systems architecture and networking. In 2013 as Director of IT he led the development and sales of various SaaS applications as well as design and delivery of required infrastructure. He recently joined the Micro Focus Cloud & Automation team in 2017. Derek’s hobbies include flying gliders, backcountry snowboarding, and hiking.

Pradeep Kumar Chaturvedi

Pradeep is the lead Product Manager for Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) suite and responsible for the HCM suite strategy. Pradeep has over fifteen years of experience in enterprise software, five of which as product manager. As an experienced IT professional and innovation leader Pradeep have strong technical foundation and product management skills. Pradeep is a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist and Product Manager. Pradeep holds multiple US patents in areas of mobile device management, virtualization and cloud management. Pradeep holds Master of Technology in Computer Science from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

Kathir Lakshmana

Kathir Lakshmanan has 20+ Years of experience in IT Industry with deep knowledge and experience in Fault and IT Operations Management. As a Principal and Solutions Architect, provided technical expertise and provided solutions and implemented complex projects for multiple large customers base in the IT Operations Management Field using Micro Focus Products like NNMi, SiteScope, OVO/OMi.

10+ Years experience in T-Mobile as a Principal Architect and responsible for designing & implementing monitoring solutions using Micro Focus and other Monitoring Tools in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring, Application Monitoring and Performance Management.

Kara McMillan

As a Senior Product Manager for the Micro Focus Operations Bridge Suite Dashboarding and Reporting products, Kara has 20+ years of international experience in the software industry in roles including Product Management, Software Development and customer-focused leadership.

Arul Murugan Alwar

Arul is a senior product manager for DevOps and Hybrid Cloud Management at Micro Focus. Arul has immense experience and passion for delivering legacy, cloud-native and hybrid applications on the cloud. In a “Dev-dominant” DevOps world, Arul promotes a balanced DevOps practice that ingrains cloud usage governance and cost control into continuous delivery of applications. Arul also leads internal DevOps transformation of Micro Focus ITOM business.

Doron Orbach

Doron Orbach has 18 years of IT experience spanning roles in R&D, Customer success, and Product Management. Doron was from the first developers of the CMS products, and has experience with many CMS projects with large scale customers, and has published many articles on multiple CMS topics.

Tyler Peterson

Tyler Peterson has 20 years of business and technical experience in IT management, including network and data protection, with 7 of those years in product management. He has been a product manager for Micro Focus Data Protection since 2018. He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Tapan Shah

Tapan Shah, currently a product manager for Operations Bridge, has spent 15+ years in software industry specifically in monitoring domain. As a practitioner and a trusted advisor, he has worked with large enterprise customers globally to support their deployments in network management and operations bridge domains. His past experience includes roles ranging from a CPE engineer, Technical Success Engineer to a functional architect for HP/HPE and now Micro Focus Software products in networks and systems domain.

Saumya Upadhyaya

12+ years SW industry experience across Engineering, Marketing Consulting & Product Management, 2 granted patents & speaker at numerous Micro Focus & industry forums; based in Bangalore, India.

Balaji Venkatraman

Pete Zwetkof

Pete Zwetkof is a Senior Product Manager with Micro Focus located in Fort Collins, Colorado in the USA. He currently manages the NNMi and NOM products. Pete has worked in the IT infrastructure management space focused on network management for the past 20 years. His prior experience includes network engineering for large enterprise and ISP networks. He enjoys spending time with family fishing, hiking, skiing and hunting in the Rocky Mountains of Northern Colorado.

The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a leading Phoenix hotel for business guests. Enjoy a surplus of perks and amenities coupled with inspiring mountain vistas, fine dining, exquisite water features, on-site spa, world-class golf, and so much more.

We have negotiated a group rate of $249 (plus taxes and fees) per night/single occupancy. This rate will include complimentary wireless internet in all guest rooms and access to the fitness center and pool. The hotel will extend the group rate (based on availability) 3 days prior/after the event. This special room rate will be available until January 11, 2019, or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first.

Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. We will make every effort to accommodate any requests for early arrival and late departure, based on availability. Note that 24-hour notice is required for early departure or cancellation, otherwise you will be assessed a fee of one night’s room and tax.

  • Please plan to arrive on Tuesday, February 5 in time for the welcome reception, which starts at 6:00PM.
  • Workshops end late afternoon on Thursday, February 7. If you plan to attend a workshop, you should depart on a flight after 7:00PM. If you are not attending a workshop, plan to depart on a flight after 3:30PM.
