The Vivit Service Management SIG is the discussion platform for anything related to the ITSM Suite of software from Micro Focus. This suite of software covers Asset Manager, Service Manager, Service Anywhere, IT Service Manager Automation, uCMDB and Propel.
We will be looking to offer a varied program of events including technical presentations from Micro Focus Software, customer experiences, tip and tricks from practitioners and more.
Mark Laird: Mark has been in the IT industry for nearly 30 years having started out on Mainframe systems and moving through client server to virtualization and now to Cloud. Mark has been working on support Service Management systems since the early days and now forms part of the team architecting and supporting the multi-tenanted Service Management system for Sopra Steria UK. Mark has served as a SIG leader for the BSM SIG for a number of years now and moving over to help run the ITSM SIG. His hobbies include fused glass and lampworking and he runs glass workshops where he teaches.
Laura Walker: Laura, Director of Business Development for StrataCom, has been an active volunteer in the ITSM industry after beginning her employment with StrataCom 15 years ago. As Director at StrataCom, Laura is responsible for overall business development, sales, marketing, partnership, and community. Organizing and leading user group events is a big part of this role. Laura has served as a Colorado and Dakota itSMF boards in a variety of positions. She serves as both a SIG and local user group leader for Vivit and held a position on the board of directors for Vivit Worldwide for 3 years as well. Laura holds a B.S. in International Business and an MBA. Hobbies and interests include travel, cooking and baking, photography, and outdoor sports.
