Jim Copio joined Vivit at a chapter level over 15 years ago in the Washington, DC Metro area. Local User group involvement ran the gamut from chapter program chair – to membership chair - to a position on the chapter board of directors. After moving to Charlotte, NC in 2009, he continued with similar leadership responsibilities within the Carolina chapter. In recent years, Jim’s Vivit participation has extended to supporting more global programs and projects including the nominations committee, various Special Interest Groups, and moderating web events. Jim works for an HP platinum software partner called Whitlock as a strategic account manager in the South East Region (US). He works with numerous client companies providing comprehensive IT Management solutions - including ITM technologies (HP Software), IT Process, and People (organizational mapping). Jim has been a Hewlett Packard partner for 15 years.
