Minnesota Chapter - Join Now

I made the unlikely jump from Language Arts Secondary Instructor to the technology industry in 1999. In a matter of weeks I went from teaching Shakespeare to solving Betrieve Error 20 and writing SQL statements. Although I only spent two years as a help desk engineer and software trainer (for a company that went on to become acquired by Microsoft), it was a fantastic foundation for my career in the IT Service Manager industry and my ultimate love of sales (i.e. making friends for a living.) Subsequently, I jump started a fledgling start up consulting company's sales and marketing endeavors in late 2001 and experienced great success as I grew their business year after year until I came aboard for a larger HP partner, Advanced MarketPlace (AMP) in 2009. My past two years at AMP have been spectacular! Our footprint has literally exploded in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region and the true reward is seeing our customer's ecstatic embrace of an HP partner in the region made up of not just developers, but best practice experts, Project Managers who are ITIL certified and intimate with the HP toolset, and consultants with the deepest expertise in existence. AMP's ability to successfully deploy large scale implementations is second to none and I am proud to be affiliated with this professional team. We possess not only experience and industry knowledge, but stand on a belief in integrity that is our trademark. That rare combination keeps our customers coming back and makes me happy to wake up every morning and go to work for such amazing people.

I am excited to be a part of Vivit. User groups play an integral role for our customers and for us. I co-founded an HP Service Manager User Group in St. Paul in 2009 that still meets quarterly today. It's value to the community has been tremendous and I look forward to providing that same value to the Vivit community in the months and years to come!
